Transportation
First and foremost, let us discuss the various modes of transportation available to access BOA Digital:
Private Vehicle:
If you have access to a private vehicle, you can use GPS navigation services or a map to reach BOA Digital. The academy is conveniently located near the city centre, making it easily accessible by car. Be sure to check for available parking options nearby.
Public Transport:
Note: For public transport, we recommend getting a pass to the service as they work out cheaper than new tickets everyday. They usually last for 1 term.
Train: Birmingham is well-connected by train services. The nearest train station to BOA Digital is Duddeston, with trains that go to Four Oaks, Wolverhampton, Redditch and Walsall. Birmingham Moor Street is a short 20 minute walk away with Trains from Worcester, Kidderminster, London Marylebone, Stratford Upon Avon and the 'Stratford Line Trains' like the ones to Whitlocks End. Birmingham New Street Station (underneath Grand Central) has trains from Reddich, Litchfield, London Euston, Birmingham Airport and more. New Street also links to Duddeston if you are going to one of the Duddeston listed stations, which may allow you to get on the train faster. From there, you can either take a short walk to the academy or use public buses or trams on top of your original method.
Bus: Birmingham boasts an extensive bus network. Various bus routes serve the BOA Digital area. You can check the local bus schedules and routes to find the most convenient option for your location. If you have a bus pass, We would recommend getting the number 14 as there is a stop next to the School however the 94, 95 and FD (Fort Dunlop Bus) is a Short Walk from the School. You can always take any other bus but we recommend getting a pass as it works out cheaper and you can get closer to school.
Tram: The West Midlands Metro tram system also provides access to Birmingham's city centre. You can catch a tram to the Corporation Street tram stop and walk to BOA Digital from there. There is a new Tram stop to be opened near the school in a few years due to the Curzon Street construction by HS2.
Cycling:
If you prefer an eco-friendly mode of transportation, Birmingham has dedicated cycling lanes and bike-sharing services. You can cycle to BOA Digital while enjoying the city's sights along the way. You can also hire Beryl Bikes to get you to school from Birmingham City Centre, North Birmingham/Sutton Coldfield, Solihull etc. The closest Bike docking Stations are Aston University and Millennium Point, but there is one near Duddeston too.
Walking:
For those in close proximity to the academy or staying in the city centre, walking is an excellent option. The academy is within a reasonable walking distance from many central locations.
Taxi and Ride-Sharing:
